Cycle Rack Usage
These are the RULES for residents using this facility
Why and What is Allowed
The demand for cycle parking in Copenhagen Gardens has risen dramatically recently hence in 2019 we have installed a covered cycle rack. Please remember that this facility is for those with bikes that are in regular use.
It is not designed to be a cycle graveyard!
If we see bikes that are covered in cobwebs and debris that do not move for any length of time i.e 4 weeks we will remove and dispose of said items accordingly as has happened in the past when 5 unloved cycles had to be removed.
Please support the Copenhagen Gardens cycling community by:
- Parking only 1 cycle per dwelling on the rack (those of you with the option of storing your bike in your own garden, with access through a side gate or in a communal garden in the case of flats – please can you use these as an option if the bikes are not in regular use).
- For the sake of safety and aesthetics, please refrain from using the window boxes for bike parking, wherever possible.
- You may be required to identify your bike from time to time.
We will aim to increase cycle parking requirements as the need arises.
